"Staff expect pupils to flourish as learners and citizens. They want the best for them. Pupils are proud of their classwork.", Ofsted February 2020.

Cowes Primary School is a very successful school in the heart of the community.

Our Early Years Foundation Unit has been identified as a model of good practice, ensuring that the transition and progress our children make is the very best it can be.

We firmly believe in the development of the 'whole' child, providing opportunities for personalised learning, enabling each child to maximise their progress and aim high through an exciting curriculum. We ensure that the children’s education is excellent, relevant and fun. We are all extremely proud of our happy school. You are always welcome to come and visit.

Our Ethos

We work together as a community to release our children's potential, underpinned by our three values:

"Right to Learn, right to be safe, right to be respected"

Our Destination

We will rise to all challenges and new experiences, growing into independent, valued learners in a fun, safe and welcoming environment.
